DELHI get its FIRST COVID vaccination centre

On Wednesday Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated Delhi’s first drive-through covid vaccination centre at Vegas mall Dwarka. The vaccination process gets easier Now get vaccinated without stepping out of the car.

This vaccination centre in associated with Akash hospital. The team of doctor and medical staff of Akash hospital will be handling the whole process at the centre.

While inaugurating the vaccination centre CM Arvind Kejriwal stated that in the upcoming time many more drive through vaccination centre will be launched in Delhi. We are hoping that central government will provide us vaccine as soon as possible as we have a shortage of vaccines. Due to shortage, many vaccination centres have been closed across the India. We need 80 lakh doses of vaccine every month.

At drive though centres 2 type of appointment will be given to the people of 18+ and 45+ who can book appointment for Cowin website. He also quoted that anti covid jabs will be provided by the makers of sputnik V vaccine to Delhi but the quantity is not decided yet. He also mentioned that there were around 620 cases of black fungus in Delhi but Amphotericin B infections in this treatment are in shortage. our officials and representative of the manufactures met on Tuesday.

The Centre has asked states to procure vaccines from the international market, but no state government has been able to purchase even “one additional vaccine” so far, he said.

The Centre needs to demonstrate a sense of urgency and run the vaccination drive on a war-footing, Kejriwal added.
