Actress Kangana Ranaut’s appeal for renewing her passport was repudiated and was raised objections by the passport authority due to an FIR charged against her. However, the Queen Actress had to travel for her upcoming film Dhaakad Shoot commencing from June 15 to August 30, 2021, and moreover, her passport expires on September 15.

Kangana Ranaut has moved to the Bombay High Court stating that the passport authorities have raised objections for the renewal of her passport which is said to expire on September 15. The reason for the objection is over an FIR charged against the actress in the Munwar Ali Case. The Actress had a shooting schedule from June 15 till August 30, 2021, for her upcoming film Dhaakad. And for the same, she had to travel to Budapest for the continuation of the shooting. The application for her concern to the Bombay High Court is to be heard on June 15, 2021.

As per sources, Kangana Raunat’s Lawyer has also informed the court about Kangana’s Schedule and working plans. He said that “Kangana had a plan to travel to Budapest, Hungary from June 15 to August 30, 2021 to complete the second half of the shooting. But, due to the renewal problem, she couldn’t make it and the production team has invested a huge amount of money and as being the lead part in the film, her participation is important.

As per reports, in  October 2020, Bollywood Casting Director and fitness trainer Munawwar Ali Sayyed had filed a complaint against the Queen actress and her sister Rangoli Chandel for their social media posts and statements where he stated that they were spreading hatred between the Muslim and the Hindu communities and both were defaming Bollywood.

The Bandra police upon the order of the court filed an FIR against both Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel under the IPC sections 153A (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race etc), 295A (acts hurting the religious sentiments) and 124-A (sedition). But both the sisters have appealed to rescind the FIR and in accordance, the court has permitted protection to both the siblings from being arrested or any intimidating action by the police.

Besides Dhaakad, Kangana Raunt will be next seen in “Thalaivi”,  an A.L Vijay directed film where the actress will portray the role of J. Jayalalithaa, who served six times as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
