Fantasy action film director S.S. Rajamouli’s most anticipated patriotic period drama – RRR, featuring Jr.NTR, Ram Charan, and Alya Bhatt in the lead roles to be released in 12 languages across the world. RRR movie prides itself as the first movie to be released in 12 languages worldwide.

S.S. Rajamouli Garu, a prolific Indian cinema director, rose to fame worldwide through this historic magnum opus, Bahubali series. Before Bahubali, he was famous among south Indians. Generally, his movies will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Bahubali, being a pan India movie, S.S. Rajamouli Garu decided to release the movie’s next part in ten languages which include Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, French, German and Spanish.

Principal photography for the movie RRR commenced on 19 November 2018. Since then, the schedule was prepared and shooting was continued. Due to the pandemic situation, the shooting was stopped and then resumed on 5 October 2020. Shooting for the climax portion began in January 2021.

RRR will be released in seven foreign languages – English, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese. Except for the Chinese and Japanese languages, the streaming rights were acquired by Netflix. In addition to these foreign languages, Netflix bought streaming rights for Hindi as well. Streaming rights for south Indian languages were acquired by Zee5. Satellite rights for the movie RRR were acquired by the Star network for the south Indian languages.

The film made a great deal even before its release. The film is produced by D.V.V Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainments. The budget for the filming is 350 crores INR. another magnum opus by S.S. Rajamouli Garu – RRR will be released in 12 languages worldwide. Through this, the RRR movie will be regarded as the first-ever movie in the world to be released in 12 languages. The film is expected to be released worldwide by 13 October 2021.
