The much-anticipated multilingual action-thriller upcoming movie Jagame Thanthiram jukebox was released yesterday. This action-thriller stars Dhanush, Ishwarya Lekshmi, and James Cosmo in the lead roles. This film is regarded as James Cosmo’s Kollywood debut. “Pizza”, “Petta” fame Karthik Subburaj directs this movie. Jagame Thandhiram is produced by YNOT Studios along with Reliance Entertainment. Background scores and music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan who previously worked in Karnan.

The jukebox was released yesterday. The jukebox contained 8 songs namely, Rakita Rakita, Aala ola, Theengu Thaakka, Theipirai, Kalarey Kalarvasam and Naan Dhaan Da Mass, Nethu and Bujji. Karthik Subburaj informed that Nethu and Bujji songs will not be witnessed on screen. It has been used for the promotion of the movie. Apart from these 8 songs, 3 instrumental theme music also adds up on the list – Suruli, Barotta Master, and London Street.

Jagame Thanthiram new netflix movie

Since the beginning of the shooting, this movie has raised curiosity among the audience. Every single track that was released became viral on social media. Recently, the trailer has been released and it is trending on youtube. But, this movie has skipped theatres and will be a direct OTT release. The movie will be streaming on Netflix from June 18, in 5 languages namely, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Music director Santhosh Narayanan composed music for this movie. Vivek, Dhanush, Anthony Daasan, and Richard Harvey were written lyrics for the album #TunesofSuruli. The audio rights were bagged by Sony Music. Popular celebrity singers like Anirudh, Dhee, Arivu, Anthony Dasan, Meenakshi Elayaraja were roped in for this album. Music director Santhosh Narayanan himself has sung 6 songs along with other singers. The protagonist Dhanush, turned up as a lyricist for the “Nethu” single track. He also sang 2 songs in the album Rakita rakita rakita, and Nethu.

Karthik Subburaj adds that in the future the movie will be dubbed into 17 languages. Jagame Thandhiram prides itself as a first-ever Tamil film, to be released in nearly 190 countries through Netflix.
