The first-time celebration 1st June – Recognized as Global Day Of Parents

It is not that easy to grow as a family as it seems to be. Today many of us face problems in understanding each other. Many conflicts and arguments take place which ruin the relationship between parents and the child. In 1980 the Unites nations began focusing on the issues related to the family. Finally, on 17th September 1980, the UN general assembly decided to proclaim June 1st as the Global Day of Parents.

Realization of the Importance of parents amid Covid – 19

We are all in a pandemic. This pandemic has taught us many things. We have realised the importance of our loved ones and our families. Before this we never realised that how our parents made our lives so comfortable by facing the brunt of life. In these tough times also, many parents after job losses as well, managed to feed their families. Parents are the ones who always suffer physically and psychologically. But they never let their children face any problems till they are there.

Today we should all show our gratitude towards our parents and let them know that we care for them. We know that they are the most important people in our lives. They are the caretakers, teachers, helping hands to us. We cannot pay back them for what they have given us. But what we can do is, respect them, love them. Most importantly we should not hurt them.
