A clash between militants and security forces was reported in Kanigam area of Shopian district in south Kashmir on Thursday morning. According to sources, four local terrorists who had recently joined Al-Badr were involved. According to the information received at present, the police and army have asked the terrorists to surrender.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, they came across some terrorists in the Cunningham area of Shopian district in south Kashmir. Immediately after that, this area took the form of a camp. As soon as the terrorists got the information, they started firing. Security forces also fired in response. According to ANI, a terrorist named Tousif Ahmed surrendered, while the other three were strangled.
