Pune: cyclone tauktae, which is raging in the Arabian Sea, has become more active. Currently, the cyclone is moving towards Gujarat. The low pressure belt formed near Lakshadweep has turned into a cyclone. The cyclone is expected to hit the Konkan coast in the next 12 hours, the meteorological department said. Against this backdrop, the administration has issued a warning on the Konkan coast including Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar.
Alert issued in Maharashtra in view of Cyclone Tauktae:
Cyclone Toutke, which is raging in the Arabian Sea, is currently moving towards Gujarat. The low-pressure belt formed near Lakshadweep has turned into a cyclone. So the hurricane is going to be more active in the next 12 hours.
The hurricane is expected to intensify in the afternoon. At present, the wind of society has blown in many places. Winds of 40 to 50 kmph are expected in many places. Rains have also been warned in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar.
