“It was an absolutely incredible experience for me,” Tahir says of his National Award win. Chhichhore was a turning point for me since it was the first time, I portrayed an emotionally complex role. Derek glorifies his victory in the competition, and I’ve never portrayed a character with such a vulnerable side.
It had a significant impact on the types of employment I’ve been offered since then. He further stated, “Chhichhore winning the National Award was bittersweet news. While we were celebrating a big win for the film, we all wished Sushant was with us.”
T“I recall SSR being a highly focused performer as well as the most intelligent co-star I’ve ever worked with,” Tahir adds. He truly thought that an artist is remembered for their work, and this was his greatest redeeming quality.
